Upon watching the news, it breaks my heart to see my fellow countrymen suffering from this calamity. Their homes are wrecked, their loved ones are missing and some of them are already dead. What breaks my heart the most is that most of them are kids. One week before Christmas and this is what they get.

I just want to ask my readers to help these people stand up once again after what they had just experienced. Please include them in your prayers and if you can give or donate anything, like old clothes, canned goods, ready-to-eat food, etc., it would be a great help for the typhoon victims.

Tetris Battle is almost just like any other Tetris game where in you try to clear the lines by building the blocks, but in Tetris Battle, a twist has been added.

In Tetris Battle, you can now play with other users and your friends. And that’s not the best part. For every line you clear, there is a corresponding equivalent line that will add up to your opponent. If your opponent will not be able to clear all the lines, he will be knocked out. What is ‘knocked out‘, you ask? When you knocked your opponent out, all the lines you sent him/her will be cleared, but you already have a winning point because you knocked him out first. Don’t get too excited because the game isn’t over.

Your opponent can still beat you if he can knock you out too and send more lines to you. The game lasts for only 2 minutes. After that, the winner will be announced.

Tetris Battle also keeps track of your wins and loses. Every time you win, you earn a star or even 2 stars and you rank up for every 5 stars. But here’s the catch, for every game that you lose, you also lose a star. So if you want to maintain or increase your rank, you need to win as much as possible.

 2. RuthBeakley.Com - Ruth Beakley is a woman who is very fond of crafts. She does all of her crafts with her own hands, and she is very fond of bookbinding. In fact, she teaches bookbinding classes in their local place and you can even sign up for her newsletter if you’re interested!

 3. OhCrafts.Net - Oh! Crafts is an affiliate website of Oh! Ideas which offers a lot of inspirations for your upcoming events, activities, gifts, and baking needs. Oh! Crafts provide its readers several DIY projects that does not require expensive materials and they’re all easy to make, too!

 4. Poppytalk.Blogspot.Com - Poppytalk is a design blog based in Vancouver and is founded by Jan and Earl who are both working in the design field. A quick fact about them: Jan and Earl are husband and wife! What a lovely way to bond with your spouse, right? Also, Poppytalk has been featured on several magazines over the years, so you can be rest assured that their crafts are geniusly-made!

The country superstars will perform on the 37th season of the comedy show and will be hosted by Jessica McCarthy. The new season of SNL will start on the 24th of September which will be hosted by Alec Baldwin. But Lady Antebellum will perform on their October 1, 2011 episode.

Sources say Selena spent the night in the hospital and is currently undergoing routine tests. Selena Gomez cancelled her performance at Santa Monica Place because she wasn’t feeling well.

Don’t you just love the new poster for the Season 2?

Here’s more good news for all of us. Apparently, the show’s producers heard the viewers pleas and they are all open-ears to every suggestions. One of the executive producers of the show, Oliver Goldstick, said that we will see more Maya St. Germain (Bianca Lawson). There may be more scenes with both Emily Fields (Shay Mitchell) and Maya together. The producer also said that the Spencer Hastings (Troian Bellisario)-Toby Cavanaugh (Keegan Allen) tandem will more likely to grow “very much in season 2″. Goldstick adds that it “is more complicated because of what happened in the finale [season 1]“.

Angel Calalas

With her good looks and physique, it is not impossible for her to bring home the 4th grand finalist title. Angel went through a lot of practice to be able to perfect her routine. The hula-hoop trick performer garnered 24% of the total text votes, making her the 2nd highest of all the contestants, but that doesn’t mean she’s automatically in for the grand finals. The judges had to choose between the 2nd and 3rd highest, but I guess, it wasn’t a tough decision for them to make. Angel got in.

Her semi-finals performance was somewhat dangerous, and must only be done by professionals with enough training and proper equipments. This is probably the reason why the judges loved her, because she was able to pull it off and succeeded.

Happy Feet

On their audition performance, they touched the heart of the audience and one of the judges, Ms Ai-Ai De Las Alas, when they performed a tap dance – which at the moment, they did not know that what it was called – with their normal shoes. Ms Ai-Ai De Las Alas noticed their determination to join the talent show even without the proper costume for their performance. That is why Ms Ai-Ai De Las Alas promised to give them tap shoes for their semi-finals performance.

Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2

The judges, especially Ms Ai-Ai De Las Alas, and the audience got emotional after the Happy Feet’s semi-final performance. The duo garnered 50.51% of the total text votes, making them the highest placer in text votes and 5th grand finalist for the mentioned show.

Jem Cubil

His remarkable performance of David Cook’s “Time of my Life” made him one of Twitter‘s trending topic last May 14, 2011. Pilipinas Got Talent’s ladies audience and home-viewers were stunned with the teen’s charming smile, thus, gathering more than 20% text votes all in all, making him the 2nd highest in text votes.

Jem Cubil

After Jem’s performance, he said on national TV that he’s single and he likes a simple girl with a great smile and that tickled the viewers’ hearts.
